Blob Tree - Pin on Image

Ablauf
Presentation
Clarify the subject of the meeting before starting the activity so that everyone knows where they stand.
Introduce the principle of the activity to the participants and invite everyone to choose a character who best expresses their attitude to the subject.
Tip: allow 5 minutes for everyone to have time to consider all the characters and make their choice.
Exploration
Everyone chooses their character via the platform. The host can also take part.
Tip: 5 minutes will be more than enough for this phase.
Discussion
The participants have the floor. You are not going to go round the table but rather start with the characters you have chosen.
Tip: if you are using a video conference, use the pointer on the projected screen.
Point to the characters you have chosen and ask each of them to speak, giving the main reasons for their choice. This way, everyone should be able to speak.
Tip: you should allow 20 minutes for the discussion, depending on the size of the group. By starting with the characters you will avoid the monotony of going round the table.
Synthesis
Once you have mentioned all the characters, you will summarise the key points you have heard and convey the general mood of the group.
Tip: some key points may be taken on board immediately or at a later date, but don't hesitate to write them down in Action so that you can keep a record of them and respond to them later.
Vorschläge und Varianten
The Blob Tree can also be animated twice if you're running a training course or seminar, for example.
You can create two identical activities and run them at the beginning and end of the session: this way you can see if your participants' postures and feelings are changing. A fun way to evaluate a training course, for example.
