Square Review
This visual summary tool facilitates the debriefing and sharing of the knowledge assimilated individually during a group workshop. It often leads participants to realize the variety of the outcomes of the session and to value topics that they may not have not perceived as interesting at first. This activity model can be used to close any type of workshop, collaborative work, or intervention with a group. It is particularly useful for reinforcing the benefits of the discussion and developing an action plan.

Présentation
Explain the purpose of this debriefing activity to the group.
Then introduce the 4 categories using the following questions:
- What surprised me: What awareness? What prejudice washed over the session?
- What I keep and remember: What essential elements seem relevant to me to apply to my needs, my context, my project?
- A new idea that the workshop inspired me: a new idea that I had not thought of and that the session or another participant inspired.
- A topic I want to develop further: What is not yet clear or complete enough? What promising topic is there to develop after the session?

Exploration
The workshop is conducted step by step. For each step, briefly recall the content of the step before giving participants 5 minutes to come up with their ideas in each category.
After that, suggest a silent, individual reading of the whole table, or even a vote on the most appreciated ideas if there is still time.
Remind participants of the rules: no judging others' ideas and no talking during the exploration phase.
Discussion
The facilitator reads out each suggestion, category after category. They complete the writing of the rough ideas by questioning the group, depending on the time available. It is possible to group ideas together if they are similar.
Synthèse
At the end of the activity, value collective sharing.
You now have feedback from which to draw ideas for key points or even improvements if you repeat the workshop or training.
In the case of a collaborative project, identify the most popular ideas in order to set up an action plan. In Beekast, you can add the actions in the discussion area and send the action plan by email once your meeting is done.
Sugestões e variações
You don’t have to use all 4 categories in the discussion. You can conduct your discussion and summary session on only the inspiring ideas and topics that need to be further developed.
